There’s something magical about Christmas in a village pub and at The Thatched Inn, we like to think we do it properly.
Tucked just in Hassocks, on the edge of the South Downs, our inn comes alive in December. The beams are dressed, the fire is always crackling, and there’s that unmistakable hum of friends, families and neighbours gathering to celebrate. From long lunches with colleagues to evenings of laughter over small plates and cocktails, our kitchen is serving the best of the season: locally sourced roasts, sharing boards made for passing around, and puddings worth saving room for.
